When you spend time on our nature playground, you quickly realize that it is truly an outdoor classroom. There are science, technology, reading, engineering, art and math activities happening all around.
Every child is discovering, exploring, talking, playing and having fun! There is learning going on everywhere!
The gardening station is filled with soil and worms.
The Art Station is set up with easels and paint.
The Music Station is a place with children can create sounds, noise and play chimes to make music.
You will see children on a see-saw, balancing on a beam, planting in the garden, climbing through tires, blowing bubbles, riding balance bikes and reading books on tree stumps.
Our community garden is filled with plants, flowers and a Butterly Bush. Our children are learning how to tend to our garden. They are:
- Observing how the sun dries out soil.
- Planting seeds and watching them grow into flowers.
- Watering the plants to keep them healthy.
While you won’t find a swing or a slide, you will hear and see children having fun, playing and learning outside.
