You can…
Build a tower as tall as YOU are, create a house for a mouse, or use Legos, blocks, boxes and other things around your house to create a building or bridge.
Go outside and take a nature scavenger hunt walk. Make a list and find as many things as you can. Here are some examples: something red, a recycling bin, a red Cardinal, a blue bicycle, a dog barking, a white dog, a basketball or a basketball net.

Collect rocks and sort them by color, shapes and size. Or paint rocks and hide them around your neighborhood for others to find.
Take a virtual field trip to Nauticus every Wednesday at 11 am.
Visit the San Diego Zoo.
And, don’t forget about the Virginia Zoo.
Get out some chalk and decorate your sidewalk or driveway.
Go for a walk on the beach to find as many seashells or sand dollars as you can. Or, take a woods hike and listen for birds and insects.
Send us pictures of what you are doing to make the most of the time at home with your children! We would love to see your towers, rock collections and your chalk art! Be creative.
